Denys ShcherbatyiAI-Native Fullstack Engineer

I build AI products that survive production.

Fullstack engineer in Python and TypeScript. Most recently I took a commercial AI SaaS from its first commit to production.

Main stack: Python / FastAPI / TypeScript / Next.js

Selected work

Three projects that show the range: a live multiplayer canvas, a 3D product and an AI experiment.

Pixel Battle

A shared pixel canvas where people draw together in real time.

My role
Frontend engineer in a team of two
What I built
  • Built the Next.js canvas: wheel zoom, panning, a grid overlay and a colour palette.
  • Pixels arrive over STOMP/SockJS WebSockets, so every change shows up without a reload.
  • Login, registration and token refresh flows against the backend API.
Stack
Next.js / React / TypeScript / Tailwind CSS / STOMP / SockJS / Docker / Nginx

Backend (Java, Spring Boot) by Dmitro Itsko.

Campus Navigate 3D

An interactive 3D map of a university campus with guided tours.

My role
Fullstack developer: frontend and backend
What I built
  • React and Three.js frontend with animated camera routes, bounded free-camera controls and location panels.
  • Optimised for a large 3D model: Draco-compressed glTF and a loading screen with real progress.
  • Django REST API with an admin panel for locations, flight paths and 3D models.
Stack
React / Three.js / Vite / Django / DRF / PostgreSQL / Docker

Neural Network Labyrinth

A maze game where a neural network learns to navigate procedurally generated levels.

My role
Author
What I built
  • A TensorFlow/Keras network steers the character and learns to find the exit.
  • Procedurally generated mazes with adjustable complexity.
  • Manual play and AI mode side by side, with training on demand.
Stack
Python / TensorFlow / Keras / Pygame / NumPy

What I bring

The same four areas as the system map — each backed by work that is in production or in the open.

  • AI systems

    MCP + OAuth 2.0

Multi-agent LLM pipelines with structured outputs, and fault tolerance for results that are not deterministic. Products exposed to AI assistants through MCP.

LLM APIs / Vertex AI / MCP / Structured outputs

  • Backend

    FastAPI + async

Async Python services with background work, real-time progress over SSE and WebSockets, and subscription billing with usage quotas.

    Python / FastAPI / Pydantic / MongoDB / PostgreSQL / Redis

  • Product UI

    Next.js + Three.js

Next.js and React interfaces on a shared design system, admin consoles, browser extensions, and 3D where it earns its place.

    TypeScript / Next.js / React / Tailwind CSS / Three.js

  • Infra & delivery

    Docker + CI/CD

Automated CI/CD with secure deployments, safe database migrations and isolated environments, plus one quality gate shared by local runs and CI.

Docker / GitHub Actions / Google Cloud / Linux
